Our presses are also capable of producing advanced drop-on-demand printheads and feature UV inkjet ink technology with grayscale capability to deliver print resolutions of up to 1000 dpi, rendering labels in near-photographic quality.

Both presses are also equipped with Jetrion VDP (Variable Data Printing) integration solutions, which help our clients respond to market trends such as personalization (one-to-one marketing), localization (multi-language support), product versioning and serialization (bar coding) by creating new, more efficient services. For example, our Jetrion presses can print 1D and 2D barcodes, as well as variable text and numbers.

The new Jetrion 4830 is the designed to meet growing market needs for shorter label runs for local promotional materials, growing SKU and article numbers, bar codes and brand growth. While reducing turn around times and inventory for customers, without compromising quality. The Jertrion 4830 now allows us to print up to 50,000 labels in the digital format keeping costs low, for you, our customer. Vector Graphics Explained

There are a lot of terms in our industry and when providing art files for printing, many customer ask “What are Vector Graphics”?

Unlike JPEGs, GIFs, and BMP images, vector graphics are not made up of a grid of pixels. Instead, vector graphics are comprised of paths, which are defined by a start and end point, along with other points, curves, and angles along the way. A path can be a line, a square, a triangle, or a curvy shape. These paths can be used to create simple drawings or complex diagrams. Paths are even used to define the characters of specific typefaces.

Because vector-based images are not made up of a specific number of dots, they can be scaled to a larger size and not lose any image quality. If you blow up a raster graphic, it will look blocky, or “pixelated.” When you blow up a vector graphic, the edges of each object within the graphic stay smooth and clean. This makes vector graphics ideal for logos, which can be small enough to appear on a business card, but can also be scaled to fill a billboard. Common types of vector graphics include Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand, and EPS files. Many Flash animations also use vector graphics, since they scale better and typically take up less space than bitmap images.

We wil have more exciting news soon, our new online label quoting and ordering tool is in the internal testing phase. Once it’s operational, this step-by-step ordering system will allow you to generate quotes for your labels online, place label orders, track your orders and mange your order history.
